Poppy Playtime Ch 2 Walkthrough Part 1: To the Game Station

Welcome to my Poppy Playtime ch 2 walkthrough part 1, to the Game Station. In this walkthrough I not only guide you for the game, but will also show you how to get all trophies, tapes, notes, and achievements. The achievements I will go over in this guide are Unbeatable, Ahead of Schedule, Sweet Revenge, Avid Listener, Avid Reader, Bad Listener, and Talk to the Hand. Go to Elliot Ludwig's Office

We will pick up Ch 2 where Ch 1 left off, in front of Poppy’s case. I want to quickly 2 achievements to know about as you proceed with the game. The first is “Unbeatable” which is to complete the game without dying. The other is “Ahead of Schedule” which is to complete the game in 45 minutes or left. Now make your way down the hallway and on the right wall is a white door. Interact with it to open the door and we will come to a new area of the factory. 

Straight ahead is Elliot Ludwig’s office, but we cannot enter yet because it is locked. Take the right hallway and you will come to a destroyed floor. Look up and there is a yellow bar, this will be a new mechanic throughout this chapter. You will use these yellow bars to swing across gaps. Grab the bar with one of your hands, then walk back so you can get a running start. Then run straight of the edge and you will swing. Press the hand button again to let go as you approach the other side. 

Here there is an achievement you can get by knocking over the Huggy Wuggy cardboard cutout. Knocking him over is easy as you only need to place your hand on it, then pull to knock him over. This will give you the achievement “Sweet Revenge.” Now look at the door blocked by barrels. Use your Grab Pack to move the barrels away from the door. Then enter to collect a key hanging on the wall. This will unlock Elliot’s office, so now we can make our way to his office. 

Once there interact with the door to open it. Inside the office are 3 collectibles, the Daisy Trophy, the Experiment 814 note, and a brown tape with the “Elliot Ludwig Biography” video on it. You can use the TV in this room to watch the tape. Collecting all the notes in this chapter will award the “Avid Reader” achievement. Watching all the tapes will award the “Avid Listener” achievement. So it is important to watch all the tapes if you want that achievement.

First Circuit Puzzle

Look at the back wall of the office and there is a large vent cover with handprints on it. Grab this with one of your hands and pull to open it. Now hop up on the vent cover or desk to get inside the vent. Continue through to the other side and you will find Poppy. After a brief conversation she will move out of the way of the power outlet. Now you can use one hand to connect to the power outlet. 

Then jump onto the raised pole to wrap your arm around it, then walk to the second pole and wrap around that. Go forwards and behind the Huggy Wuggy cutout is the receiver. Place your other hand on the receiver to complete the circuit. Once that is done Poppy will start talking to you, and there is an achievement you can get here. Just wait here until Poppy says “You’re making me sad” and you should get the achievement “Bad Listener.” 

Now you can go through the vent to go back to the office. Exit the office and turn right. You can now use your hands on the scanners here to open the gate. When you go through the gate you will see a huge hole in the floor. You will need to swing across this hole, but be warned if you fall it will be game over. So grab the yellow bar on the ceiling with one hand. 

Then walk back to give yourself room to run off the edge. As you swing across let go to fling yourself to the other side. Continue forwards and Poppy will be standing in front of a large hole. Go up to her and then she will be doll napped by Mommy Long Legs. Jump down the hole after her and you will be in a new area. 

To the Game Station

Here is the second circuit puzzle we need to complete to power the Game Station door. Enter the room with “Power” above it. A new obstacle here is that a gate will pop up when you power each pole. If your arm is not positioned correctly it will be cut off from the power outlet. To get around this go down the left walkway and shoot your hand behind the blue pipe. This will prevent your arm from getting cut off by the gate. Make sure not to power the pole on this walkway though. Go back to the other walkway and wrap around that pole first. 

Now you can go to the second pole and wrap your arm around it. A gate will pop up so we will need to move right to have a clear shot at the receiver. Touch the receiver with your other hand to complete the circuit. The door to the Game Station should now open. Go down this hallway and use your red hand on the scanner above the door. 

When you do this Mommy Long Legs will steal your red hand and start talking to you. You can get an achievement by aiming your hand at Mommy Long Leg’s face. Doing this should give you the “Talk to the Hand” achievement. Don’t worry she is not going to attack yet.When she is done talking and leaves the door should open. Continue through and pull the lever in this room to get into the game station. 

As you enter this next room go into the left playground. Go to the red net and climb up it, here you will find the train trophy. Now make your way to the large control panel at the other side of the game station. When you get there look up, hiding above is the Claw Trophy. Collect this and now you can pull the lever with the blinking red light on the control panel. This will open the door to Musical Memory. 

Create the Green Hand

When the door to Musical Memory opens up take the stairs down. Unfortunately the way to the game is blocked, so we must go right through the hole in the wall. At the end here you will come to a hole in the floor. Jump down and continue through the tunnel and you will be brought to a hand creation room. Here is where we will make the Green Hand to replace our stolen Red Hand. On the right side will be a lever with a flashing red light, pull this lever to power up the room. 

Now go to the control panel and you will find a green tape with the Green Hand Tutorial video. You can watch this on the TV in the left side of the room. After watching this lets make this hand! Before pressing any buttons go  to the right most machine and look to the pipe left of it. This pipe is broken, grab it with your hand and pull to put the pipe back in place. Now go to the control panel and press the button under the blinking red light to start the machine. 

When the machine is ready for the next phase the red light will turn on. Continue through pressing buttons and when you get to the paint the machine will give an error. Then an area behind the machine will light up and the doors will open. Go up the left most door and go down the walkway. 

Here there is a conveyor belt which will bring the green paint to you. Look across towards the machine that created the hand molds and you will see a trophy. Use your hand to collect it and get the Green Hand Trophy. Now look for the paint bucket and grab it so you don’t have to wait for it to come to you. 

To the right of the conveyor belt is the paint machine, you can place the paint can in the circle hole. Now you can jump down and go back to the control panel. Press the button and the hands will be painted. Then press the next button when prompted to roll the hands out. Now you can choose one to become yours. Once you have equipped it you can use it on the green power outlet to collect a charge. Then put your green hand on the receiver to open the door on the conveyor belt. 

Quickly go through the door before it loses the charge and closes. Remember that the charge from the Green Hand will only last 10 seconds. Continue forward and take the first right and you will come to a hole in the wall. Continue straight and Musical Memory is right around the corner. But do not enter yet! Entering the area will trigger the game to start, and there are some important things you need to know. I will go over all my tips and tricks for Musical Memory in part 2 of my walkthrough.
