Part 1: Enter the Factory FNAF Secret of the Mimic
In part 1 enter the Factory I will show you how to get in the factory in FNAF Secret of the Mimic. My walkthrough will show you where all the collectibles and mailboxes are along the way, and the best way to get through each section. I also have my video guide linked at the end of the guide in case you need a visual walkthrough.

Entering the Factory
We start off inside a van being told to collect our Data Diver. After collecting this exit the van, but do not go towards the building yet. Instead turn left and go towards the front gate. Sitting right there will be the first, and easily missed, mailbox. Put in your Data Diver to collect the mail. It is very important to get this first mailbox because we cannot get back out here once we enter the factory. So if you miss this mailbox you will not get the achievement for getting all the mail.
Now turn around and go towards the gate with the two yellow lights. When you get to it look at the lock and your hand will move to grab it. Then you can unlock it using your controller or mouse to open the gate. Continue forwards on the path and you will come to some obstacles in your way.
Crouch to go under them and then go up the stairs and around to the next area. When you drop down crouch through the gate and you will find the door to the factory. In this room you will need to wait for Edwin to stop talking and then you can go to the next room. Now you will watch an amazing welcome show, you won’t be able to go anywhere until it ends.
Go to the Security Office
Once the welcome show malfunctions you will want to go forwards. The stairs should be out here so you can walk up to the stage towards the broken door. Turn left and you should find a lever you can turn to move the octopus. Then you can walk in front of the octopus to the door past it. Use your Data Diver to open the door to the security office hallway. Don’t worry as you move forwards, the Mimic will not spawn yet. Go straight and you will quickly come to a mailbox near an elephant suit.
Use your data diver on the mail box to get the next text logs. Continue forwards and the hallway will get wider. Keep right and you will see the security office. However, you cannot enter yet because there is no power. Interact with the generator to grab the handle and pull it back quickly several times to turn it on. The security office door will automatically open and you can talk to dispatch on the radio. Dispatch will then tell you what to do next.
When Dispatch is done talking you want to interact with the Data Diver upgrade machine in the corner. Now you need to do a mini game to activate your security level on the Data Diver. You will need to make the arrow go over all the 0s to turn them into 1s. This one is simple as you can just let it go straight from the middle lane. Then select “Move to High Track” when the arrow clears the last number. This will move it to the top row when it comes back to turn the remaining 0s to 1s. Once upgraded you can press enter on “End” to exit the machine.
Now it is time to turn the power back on. Exit the security office and go left back the way we came. But when you get to the elephant costume you will see a door that says “Power Room” above it. Enter the power room and pull the lever on the giant machine. This will open the front panel where you will be presented with a puzzle. You will find many of these puzzles throughout the game so get used to it!
What you need to do is make a path from the yellow power source to the pipe on the left side before time runs out. You know when time is almost out because the yellow liquid will slowly fill up the pipe, when the pipe is full it will go through the pipes. If you finish the path quickly you can pull the red lever under the liquid. This will increase the pressure to make the liquid quickly fill the pipes.
With the power back on you can now go back towards the security office, but don’t go to the office yet. When you get to the elephant costume that is standing up turn left. You will find a small area on the side with a present sitting on the table. Open the present to get the Deadeye Roxy Rodeo Hat. Now bring this with you to the security office. When you get in the office tap on the button under the microphone so Dispatch can tell you about the Inventory Tube System.
Turn right when Dispatch stops talking and the Inventory Tube System machine will activate. Now it is time to learn how to store collectibles in this game. Place the hat inside the machine and then pull the lever. This will store the collectible in your inventory. You can check what you have stored in inventory at any of the Inventory Tube System machines. To access the monitor just plug your Data Diver into the plug. Go to “Collectibles” to see a list of your collectibles, and “Tools” for tools. This is the end of part 1 of my guide, continue to part 2 below to see what’s next.
