Decommission Roxy FNAF Security Breach

Part 12: Decommission Roxy FNAF Security Breach

This guide will go over the missions that take you through how to decommission Roxy in FNAF Security Breach. The missions are Roxy’s Weakness, Repair Robot Head, Stop Roxy, and Upgrade Freddy. I also will show you where to get the final Roxy Fizzy Faz upgrade and final Freddy battery upgrade. During these missions you will find 4 presents and 9 bags.

Table of Contents

Mission: Roxy's Weakness

Objectives

  • Find Out How to Stop Roxy in Roxy Raceway
  • Find a Working Racekart to Run Over Roxy
  • Find Missing Robot Head in Roxy Raceway

Mission Walkthrough

Now it is time to go after Roxy, but first we need to figure out how to decommission her. To do this we need to get to Roxy Raceway. Go to the main stage elevator and take it back to the Atrium. You can get in Freddy if you don’t want to worry about dodging Roxy and security bots. Now make your way to the escalators on the right side to go to Roxy Raceway. Go through the red door and straight down. When the path splits you will want to go left and you will come to two locked gates. If you have the Monty claws then open the right gate, and if you have the Chica voice box open the left gate.

Continue forwards and you will find a bag with the “Sinkhole” text log in front of the Roxy Raceway door. Be careful when you open the door because Roxy does patrol right in front of it. But when you first get here Roxy should be in the far back left area. Remember you do have the Faz Cam or Fazer Blaster to help you stun Roxy now in case she does see you. Right next to the door will be a save station and, as always, make two saves.

Before going to the go kart area we need to collect some things first. Get in Freddy and go right down the stairs, you will notice a large building in the corner that says “Information.” This is where we need to go, and when you enter the building you will find a bag to your right on the floor. This will have the “Chasing Cars” text log. Go to the back of the room and you will find a present sitting on the bottom shelf. Inside is the Space Monty Keychain, now you can hop back in Freddy and go back into the raceway. You will want to go forwards and around the corner you will find the go kart, along with some other important things.

Just behind the go kart will be a bag with the “Test Drivers Wanted” text log. If you look to the right you will see some stairs. Take these up and you will find a present with the Roxy Fizzy Faz. This is the final Fizzy Faz upgrade and grants us the maximum amount of stamina. Now you can go back downstairs and make your saves at the save station. Now it is time to get a few more collectibles before continuing on with the mission.

If Roxy is around then you can hop into Freddy to avoid her. From the save station you want to go right around the pipes, then turn left at the forklift. On a pallet in this area will be a bag with the “Re-theme” text log. Turn around and go left towards where all the go karts are stored. You will find a small office here which has a bag and present inside. Here you will get the “Power Drain” text log and Monty Balloon. Now we need to get the Dance Pass and Robot Head which brings us to the next mission.

Mission: Repair Robot Head FNAF Security Breach

Objectives

  • Find Dance Pass and Bring Robot Head to West Arcade
  • Bring the Robot Head to the Security Office
  • Reboot the West Arcade – DJ Booth
  • Reset 3 Breakers Scattered Across West Arcade (0/3)
  • Reset Last Breaker at the End of Maintenance Hall
  • Repair Robot Head

Mission Walkthrough

If you look towards the entrance you will see there is a line of garages. Remember to keep an eye out for Roxy still, or go in Freddy so she does not see you. Now make your way to the garages and go into the first one, inside on a table will be the dance pass. If you need to recharge Freddy go into the third garage and there is a recharge station there. Before we continue on it is time to get the final Freddy battery upgrade and a bag.

To get the battery upgrade you will want to go to the very last garage and you will see a security level 0 door. Be very careful when you approach this door because there is a security bot that patrols right in front and can grab you through the door. I do not recommend bringing Freddy in here because it is a small space and it will be harder to avoid the security bot while exiting Freddy. Wait for the bot to be patrolling away from the door and follow behind it. On the left wall under a shelf is a present and inside is the final Freddy battery upgrade.

Then turn around and you will see the bag, but be VERY careful! The security bot does shine his light in the middle area so he can grab you as you collect the bag. So you may need to stun the security bot with the Faz Cam, then grab the bag and run out. This will give you the “PQ2 Maint Log.” Now it is time to get the robot head. If needed make sure to recharge Freddy in the recharge station in the third garage.

Go down towards the fifth garage and you will see it leads into a checkered tile area. Go to the right where there is a blocked staircase with a bunch of crates next to it and a bag on the floor. Make sure the coast is clear then exit Freddy and collect the bag to get the “Sore Winner” text log. Then go in between the crates to find the robot head. This will complete your previous mission “Roxy’s Weakness.” If Roxy does see you remember that you can stun her to buy you time to jump back into Freddy.

Freddy will mention that the robot head must be fixed before you can use it, because nothing is ever easy in this game. We already have the dance pass so we are all set. Before we leave there is one more bag to collect. If you go toward the wall you will see a red door left of where you got the robot head. Go inside this door to find a bag with the “Old Elevator” text log. If you brought Freddy with you, well unfortunately you cannot bring him back out due to the boxes here. Instead you can exit the room then call Freddy back to you. This way you can use Freddy to safely leave Roxy Raceway.

We now need to go to the West Arcade, it is on the third floor of the Atrium under the “Fazcade” sign. When you get to the Atrium go right and recharge Freddy if needed. Then go all the way up the escalators and the West Arcade is right there. We will once again need to give a bot our pass to enter so get out of Freddy here. Then look around because there are 3 security bots that patrol right in front of the bot we need to interact with. Wait for them to be going away then run to the bot and give it your pass. Now you can enter the elevator and go upstairs. Do not worry about bringing Freddy with you because you can’t! Freddy is not allowed into the West Arcade, at least not for this part of the game.

When you get to the West Arcade there will be a save station you can use. In this area there will be a ton of security bots patrolling around, and if you get caught they will summon Monty or Chica to you. So it is best not to get caught if possible as no animatronics are around right now. I recommend looking at your cameras and get an idea of what the area looks like and where the patrols are. I am going to show you where a present is, but feel free to get this later if you are worried about getting caught. The reason it is easier later is because once you finish the mission here you can call Freddy into the West Arcade.

Now about that present, from the lobby go left to the area with the air hockey games. You need to go to the right corner under the curved staircase, just be super careful to not get caught. When you get to the present you also need to wait because there is a security bot that can grab you through the staircase. This security bot patrols up and down the carpeted area. So wait for it to be going away and then open the present to get the Glam Monty Plush.

After getting this safely make your way left to the curved staircase next to the lobby. Take this up and watch out for the security bot patrolling the next level. Then continue up the stairs to the second floor. Check your cameras here to see all the security bots you need to move around. Remember they can be stunned by the Faz Cam if one is about to catch you. They can be stunned with the Fazer Blaster as well, but it is much more difficult because you must hit them in the eyes. Make your way to the end of the room and you will want to enter the last party room on the right. Inside this party room you will find a present with the Chica magnet.

From here we can easily get to the security office, as the door is right across from us. Just wait for the security bot to move away then run across through the door. If you go through the door on your left there will be the security office with a save station. I recommend saving your game as you never know when the game will crash or something crazy will happen. But do NOT go towards the security badge in this room or the bag! The second you do the reboot arcade sequence will begin and you can no longer save the game! There are two important things we must do before going to the next mission!

Exit the office and go left, you will see a huge room with random arcade machines and such. Run to the end of this room and you will find the Princess Quest 2 arcade game. To the left of the Princess Quest game will be the Bonnie cardboard cutout. Take a picture of Bonnie and his eyes will glow to show he has been activated.

The Fazer Blaster does not work on Bonnie, so if you don’t have the Faz Cam you will have to come back later. Next you will want to play the Princess Quest game. Please note you can only play this game if you finished Princess Quest 1. So if you have not done that yet then go back to the security office. I will not go over Princess Quest 2 in this article, but I will link my guide for the game so you can use it. After doing these two things go back to the security office and save your game.

Princess Quest 2 Guide

Back to Repair Robot Head Mission

After you have made your saves it is time to prepare yourself for another difficult section. As soon as you approach the security badge the lights will shut off as the West Arcade is shut off. You will then need to perform a system reset to properly reboot the arcade. First we need to go all the way back downstairs so we can reset the audio manager circuit breaker. But this will be a challenge as now Chica and Monty are patrolling the area.

Chica will patrol the top floor around the area we just came from. Monty will patrol the first floor in that area next to the stairs with the arcade machines. As always I will include pictures of their patrol paths. Monty may be more difficult to deal with if you did not decommission him because his sunglasses protect him from the Fazer Blaster stun.

Something different about their patrols this time is there are several points where they can decide to take a different path. For example they can continue forwards or go backwards, they can go left instead of right, things like that. This adds rng to their paths which means the path I get won’t be the one you get, increasing the difficulty further.

Use my patrol pics for reference but just know they may not be accurate to your experience. Kiting animatronics is not as scary as you may think, especially since we can stun them now. You can always just run, and then stun the animatronic before it grabs you. Then run past it and break line of sight by going downstairs and then run into a hiding place. Chica does not follow far downstairs, but Monty will follow you all the way upstairs until you hide.

Getting past Chica will be more difficult in this first part. This is because she can see through the arcade machines for some reason. Be careful when you exit because there is a security bot patrolling right in front of the door, and we need to get past several more. If you want to play it safe you could hug the right side, when you get past the set of arcade machines blocking the right side there is a party room.

This party room can be seen on camera CAM_UpperRooms if you move the camera all the way to the left. You just need to avoid all the security bots to get there. Go in the party room and hide on the left side. Then you can watch the cameras and hope Chica patrols to the back where the security office is. Then you can safely go to the stairs while avoiding security bots. This only works if you move quickly after the arcade shuts down though, as Chica will spawn in a way where she won’t see you enter the party room.

If you don’t want to go the sneaky way, then you will need to know how to escape from Chica. Luckily this time we are armed with the Faz Cam or Fazer Blaster to make getting past her easier. You can see where we need to go by looking at camera CAM_UpperStairs. Look to the top right and the stairs are hiding behind the group of arcade machines and glass railing. When you go to enter the arcade do not just run out, first check the door to see if the coast is clear. There is a security bot that patrols right in front of the red door. Once it moves away you can follow behind and continue forwards.

As you get past the first set of arcade machines look around to see if the next security bot is approaching from the left or right and go the opposite way. Then you’ll come to another set of arcade machines that block the right side so you need to go around to the left. You will come to another group of  arcade machines that a security bot circles around. Once it passes you can continue left but now be on the lookout for Chica. Stick left to go to the area with the racing arcade games next to a carpeted area with couches. Here is where Chica will most likely start chasing you. If she is chasing wait for her to choose a side to go around and then book it forwards to the next line of arcade machines. Just look out for the security bots as you run. Once you get through them the stairs will be on the left to the first floor. If Chica is too close then stun her.

Chica should lose you after the stun, but if she is still chasing you things will be a bit tougher. When you get to the bottom of the staircase you will have to wait for the security bot to leave before continuing down. As you go down the stairs it is possible for Monty to see you as well. So keep an ear out for the chase music. Again avoid the bots and, if you need to escape an animatronic, run down the left hallway. Then keep right as the hallway turns and look out for the patrolling security bot. There will be a cart you can hide in the end of the hallway here. You may be wondering why I told you to take the long way around for this, well that extra wall between you an animatronic can help them lose you so they don’t check the hiding spot. Now you can make your way to the DJ stage and you will see a red level on the wall. Once you flip this the DJ Music Man will become active and you will need to find 3 breakers hidden around the arcade.

The first lever will be in a supply closet in the bathroom, an odd place for sure. Go down the right hallway and avoid the security bot, enter the red bathroom door at the end of the hallway. Inside you will find a closet with a lever. Be aware this lever does seem to be a bit buggy, where DJ will kill you when you go back into the bathroom even though he is not there. So once you go in the bathroom and flip the lever stay in the room to avoid death by a bug. Wait until you feel the ground shake then peak around the door and you should see the DJ look in, and then stick his hand in. Now you can leave this room, but go across and stay near the back of the room. Position yourself so you can see the right side door.

The DJ should now look through this door shortly after you change sides, then he will reach in with his hand to try and grab you. If he does grab you it will be game over. After trying to grab you for a bit he will pull his hand back and look through the door, then attempt again. If you try to switch sides, the DJ will change sides as well so you cannot avoid him this way. Instead stand where you can see the right side door and wait for the DJ to stick his hand in. Then as he pulls back you want to hug the right wall as much as possible and run past him. You must do this quickly to survive, if you are too slow he will grab you. Then you can stop just before the green tile starts because a security bot patrols there.

The second lever will be in the area that Monty is patrolling. Remember that, despite having no legs, Monty can still jump at you. So make sure to listen for the jump sound if he sees you. The camera angles are not great here but I did my best to make the patrol path pictures for you. If you decommissioned Monty then this part will be a lot easier as he can be stunned. If you did not though, you will need to be very careful because Monty cannot be stunned since he wears sunglasses. First check to see where Monty is and make sure he is not patrolling down the carpeted area facing you.

When the coast is clear run across, avoid the security bots, and go towards the left side with the purple stairs but look out for the jumpscare sound, if you hear it then Monty saw you. There is a cart over here you can hide in as well so you can take a moment to look at the cameras, but you will most likely have to deal with Monty. The best way is to just wait for Monty to be close, stun him, dodge the security bot, pull the lever, then run and lose Monty by hiding in a hiding spot. But if you want to play it safe here is how.

There is one security bot that patrols right in front of the lever, while Monty can patrol here he can also goes around the air hockey area. You can wait until Monty is on the other side of the room and then hop out and run straight to the lever, just watch out for the security bot. Also be careful of the hiding spot as it is super close to the lever, so you can accidentally hide instead of flipping it. Once you flip the lever it is time to get to the next one.

If you look right of the lever you will find a staircase you can take to the top floor. Be cautious as there is a security bot on the landing above. If Monty saw you then try to stun him then run upstairs and hide in the stroller. Then wait for him to reset and for the security bot to be away from you. Now take a moment to check the cameras and you will see Chica’s patrol has changed a bit. Like with Monty you can just not care about her and run to the lever while she chases you, or you can try and play it sneaky. Personally, I prefer just going for it because it is much faster although it is a bit more risky.

Chica will patrol around the circular counter to the bridge and around through the arcade machines. You can get unlucky and have her be right next to the circular counter when you get upstairs. Check the cameras to get an idea of where Chica is. It is possible for Chica to also go to the arcade area she was patrolling earlier, but this is entirely up to chance and it could take forever for her to go over there. So while you could hide until she goes over there, it may not be the best solution.

To get to the lever you will want to either take the bridge on the left, or go right down past the arcade machines. The lever is closer to the bridge just so you know. The ideal way to get to it would be for Chica to be patrolling away from the bridge towards the curved arcade machines. Then you can walk up behind her to the lever and avoid getting seen. If Chica sees you just stun her and then book it to the lever or a hiding spot.

There are stroller hiding spots along the security bot patrols, so you can use them to avoid getting caught. Or just stun the security bot with the Faz cam. When you see the orange cart you are in the right spot because the lever is next to it and an arcade machine. Flip it and then book it across the bridge, unless Chica is there. If she is then go around the other way. Now we need to go to the security office area for the final breaker.

If Chica is still chasing you there is one line of sight you can use against her. The circular counter has a structure in the middle of it that she cannot see through, so crouch running around it can confuse her. Be aware she can see over the counters though. While out of her sight you can hide in a hiding spot and she should reset to her normal patrol. Just remember Chica does the weird teleport thing sometimes so always keep an ear out for the jumpscare sound. When you’re ready make your way to the back of the arcade area while avoiding the security bots. If you do happen to get caught try to stay calm. All you need to do is stun the animatronic they alert and continue running forwards. You can also get lucky and they won’t summon Chica or Monty to you.

When you enter the back storage room do not go to the security office yet. The lever is in the back of the storage room so run back there. You will notice the Princess Quest 2 game here as well, you can play that after we finish this part if you want to unlock one of the endings. But you can only play it if you already finished Princess Quest 1. Back to the mission, on the right wall will be a lever. Make sure your stamina has fully recovered before flipping this lever. As soon as you press this lever the DJ will come out of the wall to chase you. If he catches up to you it is game over.

Now if you have all the Fizzy Faz upgrades and shoes then this part is easy, as you will outrun the DJ with ease. All you need to do is run straight down and take cover in the security office. But if you do not have these upgrades this part will be harder. The reason is because the DJ will throw things at you as he chases to block your path. So you will need to move left and right to get around these objects. One important tip I can give you is to make sure your stamina does not run out. It takes much longer to recover if it runs out vs just stop running right before it depletes.

Once you are inside the security office the arcade will be reset and you can finally save the game. You have now beaten the West Arcade in FNAF Security Breach. Make sure to also collect the bag in the corner to get the “Ultimate Party Host” text log. Congratulations, the hard part is finally over! Chica and Monty will also despawn but if you get caught by a security bot they will respawn.

Before we leave grab the security badge on the desk and fix the robot head in the giant machine in the middle of the room. Go up to the front of it facing the door and you should get a prompt to put the robot head in. Be aware this part can bug where you do not get the prompt to put in the head. If this happens you can fix it by going all the way back to Roxy Raceway where we got the robot head and you should be able to pick it up again. Now you can make your way back to Roxy Raceway, and don’t forget to save as you go.

Mission: Stop Roxy

Objectives

  • Install Head on the Kart in Roxy Raceway

Mission Walkthrough

Since it has been a while since we have been here, I will remind you where the go kart is. Before entering Roxy Raceway make sure to be in Freddy because Roxy does patrol in front of the door. Now we can enter Roxy raceway and go down the right staircase. Continue forwards and you will see a familiar area with the go kart and save station. You can save your game first and then interact with the go kart to decommission Roxy. This will complete this mission.

Mission: Upgrade Freddy

Objectives

  • Get Roxy’s Eyes
  • Upgrade Freddy with Roxy’s Eyes WARNING!! THIS WILL TRIGGER THE END OF THE GAME!

Mission Walkthrough

After the cutscene you will get a new mission to upgrade Freddy. Go up to Roxy and take her eyes, then turn around and make your two saves. This is very important because the next part will not be as easy as you think. As soon as you press the button Roxy will activate and run at you. Despite being blind she will know exactly when you change rooms and will chase you accurately later. But I will help you get past her.

Just stay near the wooden door and Roxy will jump through it. Whenever Roxy jumps she will make the same sound Monty does when he jumps. Roxy will patrol the room looking for you, but does not come back out. If you peak in you will notice a hole in the left wall, that is where we need to go. Wait for Roxy to be away from the hole and then crouch run through it. Make sure to stay crouched so she isn’t triggered to run and move forwards, she should break the next wooden door and start walking to you.

Now we need to avoid her by crouch running back to the first room and use the distraction. Then go back through the wall and peak around the corner. Roxy should be going to the distraction, now we can go through the blue door and then immediately go left through another hole. As soon as we go through the blue door Roxy will know where we are. Run to the corner of the room and hide so you can get your bearings. While not in the hiding spot Roxy will be running after you like crazy, and she can be difficult to avoid.

Look at the camera and find the next wooden door we need Roxy to break. This is the hardest door to break because Roxy is always running at you, but you need to get next to the door so she jumps at it. The best way to do this is to stand right in front of the door and move out of the way as soon as you hear the jump sound. She will then enter the next room and start running around like crazy, and she can walk over fire with no issues. Unfortunately we cannot walk over fire, we will need to go around it. This part will also be very difficult.

Go to the right side of the room and hide in the cart and check the cameras. Roxy will randomly move about the room, you will want to wait for her to be near where we entered. Just remember she can walk over the fire so she can get to you quickly. The safest way to do this part would be to jump from hiding spot to hiding spot. Or you can just beeline to the wall where you will see a vent, open it, and hop inside. Roxy cannot follow you in the vent thankfully. Once you are out of this area, Roxy will not be able to see you anymore. She does have sensitive hearing though and will be alerted if you run near her. But if you walk or crouch when around her she should not notice you.

Now we need to get back to Parts and Service to upgrade Freddy. When you go up all the stairs you will find yourself back in Roxy Raceway. Go forwards and look around, you should see the garages and entrance to Roxy Raceway in front of you. If you want to not worry about the security bots you can summon Freddy and use him. Once you leave the gate to Roxy Raceway and are back in the Atrium go down the escalator right in front of the door. Roxy will still patrol the party area so stay clear of her. Now go left to the main stage and take it down to Parts and Service.

When you get to Parts and Service save your game, and make sure to make two. Be warned, as soon as you upgrade Freddy’s eyes it will trigger the end of the game sequence. This means ALL save stations in the Pizzaplex will be disabled except for one in the Atrium, which makes exploring and doing missions much more dangerous!

Do This BEFORE Upgrading

  • Play the Princess Quest games in Glamrock Salon and Fazcade
  • Take pictures of 4 cardboard cutouts to open secret room. (Can only do if you have the Faz Cam, I go over these in part 13.)
  • Collect any and all presents. If you have been following along you should have 50 presents at this point. Only 39 are needed for the VIP ending.
  • Find Vanny’s Hideout (Can only do if you decommissioned Chica first)

Once you have done everything you need to, then you can upgrade Freddy and will have to make a run for the exit, which I will go over in the next part of my guide.
