Part 6: Showtime FNAF Security Breach
This guide will go over the mission Showtime in FNAF Security Breach. This is one of the hardest missions in the game because you need to avoid animatronics without Freddy and barely any hiding spots. But I will break down every part of this mission, and share some tips and tricks, so you can survive and successfully complete the mission.

Part 1: Getting to the Sound Booth
Once you are on the main stage you are ready to start the mission. But be warned, this mission is tough and potentially buggy. So before starting you should make two saves just in case. The Fizzy Faz upgrades we collected earlier will greatly help at making this mission easier. When you are ready to start take the left stairs down from the main stage.
Stick to the left side wall as you go down because the patrolling security bots do not go all the way to the walls. They only patrol the carpeted areas but if you are unsure just take a second to watch them move. As you proceed you will see Monty moving a spotlight across the party area from the party check in.
When you get here you will want to crouch to avoid detection, and watch where the spotlight is on the ground. When it is moving to the other side of the room you can proceed forward. As you go remain crouched and go towards the party check in. Then go around the back and head towards the right escalator. Make your way up but do not go all the way to the top because Roxy will be patrolling nearby. So before we get off we need to check the camera to see where she is.
Now this is the hardest part of this mission, getting past Roxy without getting caught. When you check the cameras you will see the only hiding spots available are the strollers near the pillar. While there are distractions the issue is they are in a wide open area, so Roxy will always see you if she goes to check it out.
Roxy patrols from around the photo booths towards the elevator that is left of the escalator. Then she comes down towards the pillar next to the elevators and curves around back to the photo booths. What’s even worse is that there are two fast security bots making figure 8s around the area. So how can you sneak past without getting caught?
Well there is one way to make the Showtime mission 100 times easier. You see there is a bug where if you take the elevator down to the lobby, and then come back up, all the animatronics will despawn. This does not prevent them from respawning if you are caught by a security bot, or later in the mission when their positions reset. But at least by doing this you can get the showtime disk worry free. Now I will tell you how to get past Roxy and Chica without using this bug.
Getting Past Roxy
To get past Roxy you will need to know her path and figure out where you need to go. She also stops at specific points in her path for a few seconds before continuing. To help you out I will have an image showing her patrol path, and the security bot’s patrol path, below. The security bots do make this part harder because they both go along nearly the same path but travel in opposite directions. This can lead to them overlapping multiple times as they travel.
I’m going to be straight with you, there is no easy way to do this part. You will have to get chased by Roxy and lose her in order to proceed with the mission. So be prepared to die a few times before you get the hang of how to get away from Roxy. But I will give you some tips to help make Roxy a bit easier to manage.
First of all, Roxy is not good at keeping track of you. If you break line of sight and hide in a hiding spot or behind an object then Roxy will not know where you went. You do not even have to break line of sight for very long to lose her. One method for getting past Roxy is to wait until she is close to you and then come out from behind the pillar and let her see you.
Make sure to stand a little back from the pillar and figure out if she is coming from the left or the right. Once you know where she is coming from go the other direction and run straight towards the fake palm trees. Then curve around them so they block Roxy’s line of sight and head straight to the top of the escalator. Roxy should lose you after you curve around the palm trees.
To explain how easy it is to lose Roxy I will explain some other ways I have lost her. I have had Roxy lose me before by running in a circle around the palm trees. Another way you can lose Roxy is by running to the photo booths, and loop around to the other booth and hop inside. This is a lot riskier as Roxy will be right behind you when you hide. But I have had her walk away many times instead of checking the photo booth.
By far the best way to lose Roxy though is by utilizing the escalator to the third floor. Yes, that’s right, the escalator. Why you ask? Well apparently Roxy cannot see over the escalator railing. Wait for Roxy to be walking down the left side of the room, and then quietly get off the right side escalator. You will want to hug the right glass railings as you run to the escalator as this will let you easily avoid the security bots. Roxy will start chasing you soon after you start running.
When you get to the top of the escalator you will want to go slightly up the next escalator. Just do not go all the way up or you may run into Chica. Roxy will stop at the end of the first escalator and then should go back down to reset to her normal patrol. If this does not work you can also try going down the escalator that Roxy did not take up and hide in a photo booth.
Roxy will not see you because she must go to the top of the escalator before she can turn around and come back down. Then you can get out of the photo booth when Roxy is on the other side of the room, and remember to check the camera for the security bots! Now you will be safe from Roxy, but do not go to the third floor just yet.
When Roxy resets to her normal patrol you can save at the save station by the escalator. Make sure to make a NEW save, do not overwrite your current one. WARNING! sometimes when you reload the save Roxy can be looking right at the save station. In this case just use the escalator to lose her, or if you cannot survive load your previous save at the start of the mission.
This part can be difficult to explain with words, so if you would rather watch a video I have my walkthrough linked at the end of the guide. There I show you in game all the methods I just explained for escaping Roxy. Now we need to talk about Chica.
Getting Past Chica
Unlike Roxy, Chica is much harder to lose and even has teleport hacks. So many times Chica has been chasing me and when I break line of sight she just teleports next to me and finds me again! Chica does not lose you on the escalator either and will infinitely chase you. But the incline of the escalator does slow Chica down enough that she will never catch you as long as you keep looping her.
Another thing that makes Chica annoying is that she can see through arcade machines for some reason. This bug will probably be forever in the game now, but I know when the game first came out she definitely could not see through arcade machines. So because of this you cannot use the arcade machines as cover to sneak past Chica which makes this part 1,000 times harder.
Before getting into how to get past her, I first want to explain her path. Chica will patrol around the arcade machines and go nearly all the way back to the room near the plants. Then she goes across the area and comes back down towards the arcade machines. There are also some security bots also patrolling to make things more fun. I will have a picture showing all their paths below. There are three ways you can get past Chica, but one way is much easier than the other 2 options.
The first way you can get past Chica, and the way I recommend doing, is to stand at the top of the escalator and wait for Chica to see you. As soon as she starts running go to the bottom of the escalator and wait for her to start coming down. Now you can rush up the other escalator and book it down to the sound booth which will be on the left side of the area. By the time Chica makes it to the top of the escalator you will be long gone. Then you can insert the disk to start the next part of the mission.
The second way is to wait until Chica is going down towards the sound booth and she is near the big sign. Then you will want to stick to the left side and book it to the first stroller you see. Just make sure to avoid the security bots as well. Once you are in the stroller wait for Chica to be by the escalator. Next make sure no security bots are about to patrol past the stroller. Then you can leave and go to the sound booth. This method is risky because if you don’t do it perfectly Chica could see or hear you, and then she will know you are in the stroller.
The third method is the riskiest but is possible to pull off. You just try to run towards the sound booth while Chica is patrolling up from the arcade machines. She will see you but you can try to lose her in the back because there are a bunch of plant boxes. Be careful though because Chica can teleport, so if you hear the jumpscare sound that means she teleported.
You can either try to hide so she leaves or make sure there is distance between you and Chica. Then go to the sound booth and insert the disk. Doing so will make Chica instantly despawn no matter how close she is to you. This is because inserting the disk resets all the animatronics to new positions. But the added benefit is that it can save your life.
Part 2: To the Main Stage
As I said all the animatronic positions will reset once you put in the disk. The hardest animatronic to get past will be Chica who is now patrolling the second and first floor. Roxy will be patrolling the first floor area between the photo booths, and Monty will be patrolling in front of the main stage. Oh, and also Vanny is coming for you now too and she has wall hacks so you cannot hide from her. So now you have to get to the main stage before Vanny catches up to you. So how can you get there?
Chica Round 2
Well go to the escalator to go back down to the second floor, just mind the security bots as you go. When you get here you can save at the save station so if you die you don’t lost too much progress. Make sure to make a new save, do not overwrite your previous save. Now about Chica, she is so annoying at this part because she is patrolling down by the sign in front of the elevators and is looking in your direction.
There is no good camera angle for this part so I was not able to make a path picture for this part. Just know Chica patrols in front of the escalators, then goes towards the palm trees and goes around the closest one. So it is nearly impossible to get by her without being seen.You can try waiting until she is walking away, but Vanny may catch up to you in that time. You have two options depending on where Chica is.
First, if Chica is not looking towards your direction, or she is looking but is far back, then hug the left glass railing and run straight for the escalator, and go down it. If Chica is closer to you though where you don’t think you can make it then you want to keep the palm trees in between you and Chica. Then from the palm tree you run straight down the escalator.
As soon as you get to the first floor Chica will teleport to the back right of you behind the map sign. I recommend running straight to the party area and keep left, then jump into the photo booth facing the wall. Chica will lose you most of the time when you do this. Then check the camera to make sure Chica is going back to her normal patrol before you get out. This method does have some risk because there is a chance Chica will check the hiding spot.
Now, if you are thinking about going back upstairs, well think again. As soon as you go up Chica will teleport behind the sign in front of the elevators and pop out from behind it. So you cannot avoid her that way. If you would prefer to be sneaky you can crouch as soon as you get to the bottom of the escalator and go left. Then follow the wall around the escalator towards the food court and Chica should walk straight past you. When she is walking away from you then you can crouch run towards the party area and keep to the left side.
Roxy Round 2
The next animatronic we need to handle is Roxy, who will be a lot easier to sneak past this time. If you look at the middle camera you can see her patrol. She will just go straight down towards the right side and stop just before the photo booths. Then she will turn and go down across the photo booths and stop before the checkered tile.
She turns again and goes straight down to the other photo booths and repeats this path. All you need to do is wait until she is walking away from you and then you can CROUCH run across to the next area. It is VERY important that you are crouching because if you normal run she will hear you and chase you down.
As you move to the next area be very careful as there is a chance Monty will be looking in your direction. You may think the tables will block his view, but they do not. He can spot you through the chairs and tables, so I recommend sticking to the left side and hide behind the plant box. This will allow you to check if Monty is there before you commit to going forwards. If Monty is not there you can hide in the photo booth while you check the camera. Or if you are feeling brave you can peak around the next corner.
Getting Past Monty
Monty will be patrolling up and down in front of the main stage. When he gets to the end he will turn and check the sides of the area. Monty is not too difficult to get past because he stops for a really long time when he reaches the corners of his patrol. Like with Roxy just wait for him to be patrolling away from you and then crouch run to the stage and slam that button.
Just in case Monty sees you though, there is something you need to know. Monty will jump after you during a chase, as long as you are running straight. He will make a loud sound just before he jumps. When you hear that sound make a hard left or right to avoid getting caught. After jumping Monty cannot move for a bit as he recovers. This gives you a chance to get to the main stage and press the button. As soon as you press the button all animatronics despawn, so you can survive even if Monty is chasing right behind you.
As the elevator moves down the end of the hour sequence starts, and now you will have to survive Moon. When the elevator stops you have to wait a bit for Freddy to get out of your way. Follow him off the elevator and stick to the left side of the wall. You want to do this because Moon can pop out from the hallway on the right. Once you get past that hallway run straight for the recharge station and you will finally be safe!
Congratulations! You have not completed one of the hardest missions in the game. Unfortunately Vanessa has now disabled Freddy so now it is up to us to fix him. To continue go to part 7.

Hi I’m watching your videos but everytime I go where Monty is, he sees me and I run to the stage to push the button but I heard him coming what do I do? I’m Madalynn from Pearsall TX
As soon as you press the button on the main stage Monty will despawn. Usually you can wait for him to be walking away towards Monty Golf sign. Then crouch run and he shouldn’t hear you, that should buy you enough time to get to the stage and press the button.
