All Tape Locations Poppy Playtime Ch 2
In this guide I will show you all the tape locations in Poppy Playtime Ch 2. These tapes give a lot of lore that explain more about the factory and its employees. Tape #1: Elliot Ludwig Biography (Brown Tape)
This tape will be near the start of the game right in your path. When you load into the game go down the hallway and through the white door. As you approach the red door you will want to take a right down the hallway. Here you will be introduced to a mechanic you will encounter throughout the game. Look at the ceiling and there is a yellow bare you can grab onto. Once you grab it run off the edge of the broken floor and you will swing across. Press the hand button again to let go.
In this next area there will be a door blocked by a bunch of barrels. Use your Grabpack to remove the barrels and enter the door. In this room will be a large key with a poppy flower on it. Collect the key and go back to the red door we saw earlier. Enter Elliot Ludwig’s office and inside on the desk will be the brown tape. This has the Elliot Ludwig Biography video. Place it in the tape player in the room to watch it.
Tape #2: Green Hand Tutorial (Green Tape)
This next tape you cannot get until you reach the Game Station and open the Musical Memory door. Once you do go down the stairs and turn right through the hole in the wall. Continue forwards and you will come to a hole in the floor. Jump down and go through the tunnel and you will come to the Green Hand production room. There will be a lever with a blinking red light to the right, flip it to turn on the power.
Now go to the control panel in the middle of the room. Sitting on it will be the green tape with the Green Hand Tutorial video on it. To watch it look across the room and you will see a TV. Go towards it and under the TV is the tape player, then you can insert the tape to watch the video. As the name suggests, it will tell you how the Green Hand for the Grabpack works.
Tape #3: Security Camera: Rich (Cyan Tape)
After you finish Musical Memory you will travel through a vent to this large reject toy storage area. Go straight through the shelves to the other side of the room and turn left. Then go to the shelves across from the stairs, inside a ladder here you will find the cyan tape. This tape has the Security Camera: Rich video on it. To watch the tape go up the stairs and you will find the TV you need. Place the tape in the tape player to watch it.
Tape #4: Marcas Bricklet Reprimanding (Potential Problem) (Blue tape)
This next tape cannot be found until after you beat Wack-A-Wuggy and come to the yellow area with a track. When you are here you will come to a closed gate, and Kissy Missy will appear to help you out. Now we must solve this puzzle to continue forwards and find the tape. Go down the hall and you will find a power outlet next to a track. Take a charge from this power outlet and place it in the receiver across the track.
Go through the gate it opens and then take the charge back from the receiver, and place it in the receiver here. If you get stuck just look behind you, there is a vent you can use to escape. Continue forwards and you will be in the next section of the room. Pull the lever on the wall to open the gate on the track. Now you can get a charge from the power outlet we used previously, then run back to the right of the lever. Here will be another receiver, place the charge in and go through the gate.
Then take the charge back and continue to the next receiver, and use the charge to open the next gate. Continue forwards and you will find the next part of the track. Pull the lever here to open the next gate blocking the track. Then look to the other side of the room, and on the floor is a blue tape. Collect it and play it in the nearby tape player to watch the Marcas Bricklet Reprimanding (Potential Problem).
Tape #5: Jimmy Roth Interview (Dark Green Tape)
This next tape is not available until you beat the Statues game. As you leave the Statues game area you will eventually come to the water treatment facility. Press the button to rotate the bottom 90 degrees three times so the bridge connects to the left side. Now you can go down to the bridge and look towards the Game Station door.
Sitting on the floor in front of the door is the dark green tape with the Jimmy Roth Interview on it. Collect it with your Grabpack, you cannot jump there! If you fall into the water you will get sent back to checkpoint. Once you have the tape go back to the front of the room. Sitting to the right of the control station is the tape player you can insert the tape into.
Tape #6: P.S.A Big Spider (Red Tape)
After finishing the toy puzzle you will come to a circuit puzzle. Here is one of the easiest tapes to miss, as it is hiding from you. When you exit the vent and get to a red room, look up and there is a yellow bar you can grab. Use it to swing across the gap to the power outlet and pole. Look to the wall and you will see a closed door with a no green hand symbol on it. Look into this box and you will see the red tape on the left side.
To get the tape connect to the power outlet with your blue hand and wrap around both poles. This will open the door on the box revealing a green power outlet and the red tape. However there is a gate in place to prevent you from interacting with any of these items. Get near the gate and get ready to grab the tape, and collect a charge from the power outlet. Then break the connection and collect the tape, and use your green hand to collect a charge.
Swing across and place the charge in the receiver here. Then go through the open door and turn left, and left again. Now you will be in the room we were in previously. Quickly connect to the power outlet, wrap around both poles and connect to the receiver to complete the circuit. Now you can play the red tape in the tape player in this hallway to watch the P.S.A Big Spider video.
Tape #7: Log 08502 (Black Tape)
The final tape will be near the end of the game right after the Mommy Long Legs chase. As you go up the broken stairs you will come to a black tape on the floor. You can play this in the nearby tape player to watch the Log 08502 video. With that you should get the achievement Avid Listener and have collected all the tapes.
